Keeping SHR Safe
Safety is a shared responsibility within The Springs.
The Access Team at a Glance
The Member Services - Access Team takes actions necessary to maintain control over access to our community and its facilities to keep it safe for all HOA Members.
SHR HOA Members have full responsibility for their own properties and share responsibility for SHR community access.
Access Coverage

The speed limit on all roads in The Springs is 25 mpg.
SHR roads and parking lots are designated as Public Vehicular Access areas as defined by North Carolina General Statute 20-4.01. Please yield to pedestrians and cyclists at all times.
Front Gate Access
The Springs at High Rock maintains several secure options to access the community, all managed by the Access Team. The Springs HOA Board and the Access Team work diligently to ensure that HOA Members feel safe in our gated community. The SHR front gate is every SHR HOA Member's front door. Video surveillance is in place for monitoring purposes in the event an incident does occur.
All SHR HOA Members have a right to access their SHR property 24/7/365; SHR HOA Members may choose one or more of the access options. Each access option has pros and cons; therefore, select the options that work best.
Tailgating is discouraged. Just don't do it.
Everyone with authorized access should be be diligent in disallowing tailgating through the front gate, unless the vehicle driver is recognizable or a SHR decal is visible. Each SHR HOA Member has a vested interest in maintaining the safety, security, and privacy of our community. Your support and cooperation are not only needed, but greatly appreciated!
