Our Amenities

Most people dream to vacation in a spot like The Springs. We live and play here.

HOA Members, in good standing, and their immediate family members may use any of the amenities.

What's behind the gate.

Access to The Springs is open 24/7 to SHR Property Owners (HOA Members). At other times, only authorized persons are permitted. Video survellience actively monitors The Springs. Trespassers are subject to arrest.

This video, compliments of Jones Realtiy, highlights amenities throughout the The Springs.

Our Clubhouse

Perched on top of High Rock Mountain, the Clubhouse overlooks High Rock Lake with a breathtaking, panoramic, 100-mile view on a clear day. The Clubhouse serves as the primary meeting space for The Springs and remains locked when not in use for meetings or private parties.  Its back deck overlooking the pool and High Rock Lake is accessible and open unless the Clubhouse is reserved for a private, rented event.

Community activities that regularly meet at the Clubhouse include yoga (meets outside during nice weather), community mahjong, bridge, and book club, plus multiple social events throughout the year.

SHR HOA Members in good standing may reserve and rent the Clubhouse.

Pool & Hot Tub

Our pool is located on the lake side of the Clubhouse. Changing rooms, showers, a sun trellis, and extensive pool decking overlooking High Rock Lake make for an ideal way for HOA members to spend the day with family members and guests.

Pool fobs provide access.

Hours of operation: Weather permitting, the pool and hot tub are open daily from 10 AM to sunset. Opening and closing dates of the pool and hot tub vary each season. Restrooms, accessible via the pool gate, remain open all year.

Special notes:  All Guests must be escorted by a Property Owner at all times.

There is no life guard on duty, therefore children must be monitored at all times.

Tennis & Pickleball Courts

The Springs now enjoys top-notch court surfaces on the tennis and pickleball courts due to a complete overhaul in 2023. Many Property Owners enjoy pickleball at a competitive level and together as a community, we rallied to reconstruct the courts and add pickleball-specific lines. Today we sport one regulation tennis court and four pickleball courts. And what a view!

Hours of operation: Courts may be used during daylight hours.

Special notes: No pets on the courts at any time. Court shoes only. And please leave the courts as you found them.

Boat Ramp, Docks & Watercraft/RV Storage

Boat Launch & Parking

The Springs private boat ramp area, located off Healing Springs Drive, allows easy access for launching watercraft of all types in High Rock Lake. Parking is extremely tight and limited.
Trailers may NOT be parked here on weekends between May 1 - September 30.

Watercraft & RV Storage

The Springs provides a locked and enclosed, 2-acre, graveled boat storage facility. To store your watercraft and trailer in our storage area, you must register, obtain and display decals for them. RVs may also be stored here, space permitting.

Day Slips

All three Community Docks have day slips available for use (five at Dock 1, four at Docks 2 & 3). Launch your watercraft and for a quick tie up, use a day slip.

Overnight Mooring

Four slips at Dock 2 and four slips at Dock 3 are designated as overnight mooring slips. HOA members in good standing may apply for use one month at a time.

Tranquility Lakes & Trails

Tranquility Lakes has two large ponds (one with an fountain-like aerator), and three smaller ponds.  An asphalt walking trail circles through the woods, around the ponds and wetlands, and across the bridges and over the causeway to complete the loop.

Fishing is permitted in all ponds with appropriate state fishing licenses. Fishing pods are available at the upper pond.

Limited parking exists near the main pond. Vechicles may be parked at Wyle Wood Lane across from the start of the path on Tranquility Lake Drive.

Cascade Creek Recreational Area

Cascade Creek Park is a beautiful, serene area of The Springs with two ponds, woods, a firepit, and a picnic area with a fireplace and small shelter. A primitive path meanders through the setting where one can enjoy a lovely assortment of plants near and in the water.

If you decide to take a stroll on the path or just along the road, find a few parking spots at Cascade Creek provided for your convenience.

The firepit and fireplace should be used with the utmost care and in compliance with statewide burn ban guidelines.
