Boating Life at The Springs
Enjoy thre refreshment of High Rock Lake within the community.
With The Springs located adjacently to High Rock Lake, many neighbors take full advantage of water recreational opportunities. While some properties provide ample waterfront access, others do not. Whether you take a dip, cast a line, float about or ski, lake life includes boating for many.
SHR Watercraft Amenities
When using The Springs Watercraft amenities and boating on any body of water in North Carolina, all NC Boating Rules & Regulations apply.

Community Docks
The Springs at High Rock maintains three SHR community-shared docks and a share watercraft launch. Some of the boat slips are privately deeded to HOA members, others are available for day use and with proper permitting, overnight mooring. Unmarked slips may be used as day slips - temporary watercraft parking.
Limited parking, for vehicles with/without trailers exists at the boat ramp (Dock 1). While fishing is permitted off the docks, swimming and/or diving off the docks is disallowed.
Community Launch Ramp
Just off Healing Springs Drive, HOA Members will find a concrete ramp suitable for launching all types of watercraft. The turnaround for parking is a bit tight, but doable. The ramp extends deep into the lake although it is advisable to double check the water levels before each launch. The width of the ramp is 11 feet.

Swimming and blocking the ramp is disallowed. Respect, patience and courtesy is always appreciated.

Storage Area
The Springs provides a locked and enclosed, 2-acre, graveled watercraft storage facility. To store your watercraft and trailer in our storage area, you must register and get decals. Each lot is allocated two space. Watercraft must be registered with the state. And as long as space permits, RVs may also be stored. Changes to allocated space may change with ample notice to those affected.

NOTE: The storage area is under video surveillance.

Overnight Mooring
Four common area slips at Docks 2 and 3 have overnight mooring privileges that are allocated on an equitable basis to HOA Members in good standing requesting usage for up to 4 weeks if they are willing to accept the additional rules associated with overnight mooring. Fees apply for overnight mooring.

Where to Park When Out on the Water
Vehicle Parking
Automobile or UTV parking at Dock #1 is limited to one owner vehicle and one vehicle for guest(s). Parking is allowed in designated areas only. There is a parking lot at the corner of Rocky Cove and Mistral provided for Property Owners that wish to use the Day Slips at Docks 2 and 3 as well as for those who wish to walk the area. No on-road, roadside, or easement area parking is permitted.

At any time, passenger (non-towing) vehicles may park in designated areas and/or numbered spots only at the boat ramp. Not on the grass. Be mindful of the length of your vehicle and its impact on a person launching a boat.

Trailer Parking
Trailer parking is extremely limited at the ramp and prohibited on the weekends from April through October and summer holidays. Park in designated areas with propert identification.
Trailers may not be parked on the road, roadside, common property areas and/or launch ramp at any time.
The jet ski space at the ramp is for jet ski trailers only.
On weekends and holidays, all trailers must be parked elsewhere (storage lot, personal property).
